What you’ll need to be considered as a Sr. Developer:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and/or 4-6 years progressive development experience, primarily focused on web applications, back end automation.
- Extensive background in LAMP development. Perl, Python is a plus.
- Extensive experience designing, querying, and updating databases in MySQL.
- Advanced understanding of object oriented principles
- Talent for building user interfaces using JS/Jquery/HTML/CSS. Experience with AJAX.
- Background in refactoring/verifying systems through automated testing, and test-driven development in large scale systems.
- Basic knowledge of the Linux/Unix command-line.
- Strong analytical, creative thinking, systems design, strategic orientation, project management and presentation experience is required.
- Experience with web hosting and hosting technologies is a plus.
- Experience with MVC frameworks required, Zend Framework preferred.
What you’ll need to be considered as a Jr. Developer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or 3-4 years equivalent experience
- A passion for the Linux, Apache, MySQL, & PHP (LAMP) development stack or other web programming languages. 2+ years experience required.
- 2+ years experience designing, querying, and updating databases in MySQL. Experience using Perl and Python is a plus.
- Advanced understanding of object oriented principles
