Position: Manager, Customer Success

Been with InMotion Hosting since: October 2016

What is your current role at InMotion Hosting? What do you like most about it?

Manager, Customer Success. I love how much of an opportunity I have to make things better for the whole team. Taking good ideas and making them a reality is always a great feeling!

What position did you start in with IMH? Tell us about your career growth since then.

I started as a Tier 1 Technical Support Representative. From there I moved up to Tier 1 Expert, which was basically the same role but with more access and responsibility. Then, I moved up to Team Lead, which was a sort of junior Supervisor role. I moved up to Supervisor from there, and was eventually the Supervisor for everyone in Support but 3rd shift. Most recently I’ve moved up to the Manager role, and have been really enjoying it! These past two years have been full of change and excitement as I’ve moved to new positions, and I can’t wait to see what year 3 holds for me!

Coolest gadget you own, want to own or have read about?

I love my 3D printer. Definitely the coolest piece of tech in my apartment. I use it for printing minis for D&D, cosplay props, useful tools, fun stuff to decorate my desk with, all kinds of things.

What would you like to tell us about yourself?

For anyone considering applying, but not sure if you have the skills you need yet, study up and go for it! I started without any official experience in hosting, learning all about hosting through our Technical Pipeline Program and just knew a decent amount of Linux from having a Fedora desktop. Also, I’m probably one of the few managers you’ll find with a mohawk who wears Kamen Rider shirts.
