Hello everyone! This is an informal article for us to tell you how much fun we had at DrupalCon 2013 in Portland, Oregon this past week. We met many different people within the Drupal community, some were contributors, writers, developers, and even existing customers. Meeting everyone was an absolute honor and the talks were fantastic! The event itself was equally fantastic and we were proud to be a supporting sponsor for the event.
Sadly, Oklahoma experienced devastating tornadoes during the week. However, many developers at DrupalCon partnered with FEMA to create a website to assist the victims literally overnight. The website is https://www.help4ok.org/ and is available for volunteers to help in the recovery efforts.
While much of the content was focused on Drupal 7, we made sure we were involved in finding out all the latet information on Drupal 8. Keep an eye out as we develop more articles based on this information.
Below are links to videos of some of the talks we sat in on in Portland.
Making Drupal 8 Mobilicious
Dependency Injection in Drupal 8
WYSIWYG In Drupal 8
Using TWIG: The New Template Engine in Drupal 8
As I said, DrupalCon was wonderful and we look forward to seeing everyone next year in Austin, Texas!
