InMotion Hosting’s Backup Manager plugin integrates cPanel with your account’s remote backups. Remote backups are created for files/folders and databases separately. In this guide, you can learn how to view the files and databases contained in a backup.

View Files/Folders Backup
- Log into cPanel.
- Click on the Backup Manager icon.
- Click the expand/collapse link Home Directory.
- Select a backup from the Restore From Date drop-down.
- In the Select Files field, click on the folder icon to navigate through a directory.
View Database Backup
- Log into cPanel.
- Click on the Backup Manager icon.
- Click the expand/collapse link MySQL (or PgSQL).
- Select the desired backup from the Restore From Date drop-down.
- Click on the Database drop-down to view the databases that are present in the backup from the date you selected.
Congratulations! Now you know how to view the content of your backup(s) using the Backup Manager plugin for cPanel.
