How to change the Account Cancellation email body text in Drupal 7

Users will sometimes cancel their account registration for your site, also known as ‘opting out.’ When this occurs you will want to send them a cancellation confirmation email. This is a last chance email in case they changed their mind or made a mistake. You may want to customize the body text in your canned email section of the Drupal 7 admin dashboard. Editing the Account Cancellation text is done by simply performing the following steps.

Modifying the Account Cancellation email text in Drupal 7:

1. Log into your Drupal 7 Admin dashboard.
2. Using the top menu bar, find and click on the Configuration option.
   
3. This is the Configuration screen. Locate the People category clicking on the Account Settings link.
4. You are now on the the Account Settings screen. Be sure you are on the Settings Tab. This is found in the upper right part of the screen. Under the Emails section, click on the Account Cancellation Confirmation menu option. From there, edit the message in the Body section.
