When allowing registration and log in options in Movable Type, you may want to allow one or more of the popular login methods. These include OpenID, Google, Yahoo! and more. These methods allow users to login with those IDs instead of creating a separate account on your site. Follow the instructions below to learn how to set the different authentication methods for user login in Movable Type.
How to enable different authentication types in Movable Type
- Log into your Movable Type admin interface.Â
- Using the left hand sidebar menu, locate and click on the Settings category, then click on the Registration option.Â
- You will be brought to the Registration Settings page. Scroll down and you will see the Authentication Methods list. From here, you can simply check on the different types of authentication methods you wish to allow. Below is the default list included in Movable Type.
