Setting the days a product is considered New in PrestaShop 1.5

Store configuration in PrestaShop 1.5 has many options and settings. One of these is the number of days an item or product will display with the New tag on your storefront. You can set this number so that a new product will display a ‘New’ tag for a specific number of days. This could be a week, a month, or whatever you decide. Setting the number of days a product will show up as New in PrestaShop 1.5 is simple.

To set the number of days a product will display as New in PrestaShop 1.5:

1. Log into your PrestaShop 1.5 dashboard.
2. Using the top menu bar, hover over the Preferences tab and select the Products option.
   
3. From the Preferences : Products screen, find the field labeled Number of days for which the product is considered ‘new’. From there, enter the number of days you wish for the item to display the NEW! tag.
   
4. Click on the green Save button to save your setting.
