In this tutorial we will show you how to use a Custom Suspension page in WHM, this will display in place of a website for the suspended account.
As a reseller you may need to suspend cPanel accounts that you have created in WHM. For example, your customer may want to cancel their service with you, or their website may have a script that is affecting the performance of other people in your server.
NOTE: This guide requires WHM access. WHM access is included (at no extra charge) with our Dedicated Server, VPS, and Reseller Hosting plans.
How to Use a Custom Suspension Page:
- Login to WHM
- In the top-left search box, type web template editor.
- Then click the Account Suspended tab.
- You will then be in the Web Template Editor, in the field available enter the HTML for your new suspension page, or modify the existing page. You can click the preview button below the text field to see what the Suspension page currently looks like. You could also upload your own template, by choosing the file, and clicking the Upload Template button. It must be in a .tmpl format.
- Click the Save button when you are finished.
