70 plus hours of down time since Data Center outage. Passed around from one tier to the next for 3 days. 11/13/15 site crash due Inmotion Tech clearing virtfs directory which turn off Java applications. 11/20/15 Data Center Outage 11/21/15 – After every other website was up and running I had to wait 30 hours longer. A tech manually turned Apache on when the server was restarted. I use nginx…Once again Java applications got turned off.
Andrew, we approved managed hosting to get you up and running. If you are still having issues let me know. Thanks!
Website still down for almost 40 hours and counting. On server restart one of their techs manually turn apache on. We use nginx not apache. Now our configuration is screwed up and they are unwilling to fix because they don’t support that. You can pay a developer to fix it….or you can pay managed hosting to fix it….but wait they don’t work over the weekend so you have to wait until Monday. Still no word….This is the second time in two weeks my site has crashed do to Inmotion. The first time they cleared my virtfs directory which turned of Java applications and nginx…..Unbelievable. But wait Customer service finally got back with me and gave me two whole free weeks added to my server contract. Thanks Inmotion. How does that help at all….? Website is still down. Anyone else open to a Business disruption claim?
Andrew, I’m the Customer Community Manager here at InMotion. I’ve been looking into your issues and approved some managed hosting time to resolve them. Let me know if you need anything else. Thank you!

I can’t get onto my website. This outage is too long…
I can’t work on my webpage and I have the east coast server. Why am I being effected?
Hi George, I apologize about the recent issues with the West Coast DC. We experienced an emergency within the actual data center, which at this time, I don’t have any more information. I can tell you our data center systems administrators worked around the clock to restore functionality to all those affected as soon as possible. Thank you! Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Ivan, at this time all functionality should be restored to those affected by this emergency. Please accept our apologies for the downtime you may have experienced. Let me know if there’s anything else I can assist you with.
Anne, please accept our apologies. Unfortunately, in emergencies like that one that occured, it’s very difficult to give an ETA. I can tell you we worked around the clock to restore all customers as quickly as we possibly can. I do understand your frustrations. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can assist you with.
Hi Phillip, I’m sorry to hear that. Please let me know if there’s anything we can assist you with. Thanks!
Hi Roger, if you are on an East Coast server, this did not affect you. However, I’m sorry to hear you are having issues. It’s likely another reason. We’re happy to assist you. If you would like me to look into this, we’ll need your domain name. Thank you!
Server down 24 hours!!! How can this be? I will be changing hosts. Even this email is an alternate email because I have had no email for nearly 24 hours.
Current status? How often this is happening?
After being down 10 hrs it would seem a reasonable business action to update the status message with some additional information.
Including getting up a response to any request to server saying site is down.
