Bought Domain At Auction And Only Got Melbourneit.com Details

Hi All,

I have bought a few domains at the auction site namejet.com and was only givin the user and password to manage my domains at melbourneit.com, now one of my domains is due to expire when trying to renew it i get.

"Error: Sorry, we cannot process your renewal - It appears as though you have previously registered or renewed this domain name via a reseller of Melbourne IT, you may contact them to renew this domain name."

I have phoned melbourneit.com.au they told me that i need to renew it via inmotionhosting as you guys are the resellers. Tried multiple times to do this via phone and chat but to no avail, each person keeps asking for my AMP login which i never got provided with to start with. now my domains has almost expired. they also ask for the card but because i do not have an account here i cant provide anything i can only verify details at melbourneit.

Hello, Thank you for contacting us about your domain name. Unfortunately no account specific tasks can be performed here in the public area. Those must be done via Live Support. As the domain name in question is on an account with us, only the owner of that account can request that we release the domain to Melbourne IT. Once that is done, you will be able to take proper control of the domain name after the current owner gives you the new password for the domain, since that will change upon the release. In essence, you will need to contact the current account/domain owner to have them request the release so they can give the domain over to you. Kindest Regards, Scott M
