Will shared SSL protect confidentiality of emails?

I would like to use shared SSL to protect the confidentiality of emails. Does shared SSL accomplish that transparently from the visitor's point of view or will visitors who email me need to address messages in a format other than [email protected]?

Hello, Thanks for submitting a question about the Shared SSL. They would only need to email you like normal. The SSL encrypts the message transfer from the server to the client such as your Thunderbird or Outlook. Best Regards, TJ Edens
