Product shows sales pricing after sale ends

We have two products that are showing on sale even though the sale has ended. We have removed all sale pricing and reindexed, we have reindexed and purged the cache, and we have tried to update the pricing in the database itself. The items continue to show on sale.

I looked into the problem and it seems that it is an active bug in Magento currently and there has not been a patch to fix the issue. The only recommendations that are coming up is what you have already done is to re-index the website and purge the cache. I will try to look more into this issue but at this time there is no fix.

Having items still showing on sale after the sale has ended is pretty weird. What version of Magento are you using? Can you tell me what products are still on sale as I was not able to find it on your website.
