How to install pthreads on my linex VPS ?

I am trying to use multi threading but need the pthreads to be installed yet. The inmotion support told me that they had never heard of it !? and suggested that I installed the pthreads myself even though most probably I need to restart the server, which I am sure I do not have the privilege to do so. Any suggestion and help is appreciated.

Hello yazdanmehr, Thank you for contacting us about installing pthreads on a VPS. I found some documentation on installing pthreads and it looks pretty standard. I recommend submitting a ticket request to Live Support requesting an installation of pthreads. They will quote any prices before proceeding. You can also attempt to install it yourself, since it did not seem to require root access. If necessary, you can request root access via AMP.
