phpMyAdmin, the SQL window, and "Loading" message not being cleared

Every month I need to run a dozen or two scripts to update tables in our MySQL database at InMotion, on a shared server. To do so, I primarily use the SQL window in phpMyAdmin (ver. 4.0.10.7, as provided by InMotion), and paste the SQL code into the window. In a few cases, I execute a stored procedure instead. When execution starts, a "Loading" message appears in the SQL window. If it is a process that completes quickly (e.g., less than a minute or two), the Loading message disappears, and everything is fine. However, most of my updates take anywhere from a few minutes to maybe 30 minutes. In those cases I(whether SQL script or stored procedure), the Loading message never goes away, no matter how long I wait, even though the process will have completed successfully. The only way I can tell that the process is done (as far as I know) is to click the browser's refresh button every 3 or 4 minutes. If the refresh comes back without the Loading message, I know that it is done. And I know that it completed successfully because I can then look at my tables. Does anybody else have this problem? Is there some other way I should be doing this?
