How seamless is it to migrate an entire website to inmotion (what downtime can be expected for my users) if I am considering switching?
I am currently considering switching to inmotion. I have a website that has a few databases (custom and media wiki). The old host has cpanel too so I can grab a full website backup, and the package between the old host an inmotion is basically the same (4GB ram vps with cpanel and root access). I am negotiating pricing with the old host, but I want to know how inconvenient for my users it would be to switch before I refuse any offers. If there would be any downtime, and how much, what I can do if anything to reduce it, etc?
Inmotion really appeals to me, and I am a technical user so dealing with linux or config changes don't scare me, but I don't have the time or stress capacity to deal with a long drawn out process right now. Any information on this would be appreciated! Thanks :)

Hello Nyx,
Thank you for contacting us about migrating a website to InMotion. It is seamless and should not result in any downtime. While we do try to complete all site move requests in a timely manner, unfortunately, due to the number of move requests we receive it can be up to 14 days to complete. Although, it is usually much faster. Read more in our full article on how to ensure a successful website transfer.
Thank you,
John-Paul
