Entered Incorrect Information during Domain Transfer
While transferring a domain to InMotion, I made a typo in the authorization code without noticing before completing the transfer process. The transfer failed, and I received an email with a link to click in order to re-submit the transfer, but the link simply brings me to the very end of the process without allowing me to change any of the information. How can I fix the authorization code so that the transfer can be completed?
Thank you for your question on resubmitting a domain transfer. Once the transfer fails completely, it should clear its status in the AMP. It should then allow you to restart the transfer. This should allow the whole process to begin again, where you will submit the AUTH code once again.
If the domain does not appear to let got of the status (stays in 'pending') for example, contact the Live Support team so they can reset it. Then you should be able to restart it.
