Fresh Magento install redirects to live URL instead of testing URL

I tried installing Magento through InMotion's system and it automatically redirects the user to the live URL, which doesn't have DNS set up yet, instead of the testing URL. I would like to keep it on the testing URL until it is ready to be opened to the public.

Hello victoryent, Thank you for your question regarding Magento. How are you trying to access the Magento installation? I found a decent guide on how to use a temporary url with Magento and this may work in your case. Best Regards, TJ Edens
