I am looking to add a pdf link to my product catalog into a few automatic email templates. I have uploaded the catalog into my file manager under a catalog folder. Any advice/help?

Thank you for your question regarding PrestaShop. Are you looking to just add a link to the PDF or are you trying to display the pdf as HTML code?
