WHOIS Domain Status for Transfer

Having recently transferred my DNS from another host my WHOIS Domain Status is as follows: serverTransferProhibited https://icann.org/epp#serverTransferProhibited. The EPP Status Code states: This status may indicate an issue with your domain that needs to be addressed promptly. I wonder if this might be remedied and the status updated?

Hello Poimen, Thank you for your question on the Domain Status after transfer. Our registrar partner is now Tucows. It was Melbourne IT, but the reseller program, of which we were a part of, was sold to Tucows. I assume that this status is due to the merger, as the definition link you provided also states : "Alternatively, some Registry Operators offer a Registry Lock Service that allows registrants, through their registrars to set this status as an extra protection against unauthorized transfers. " My own domain, however, does not have this status. You may want to contact our Live Support to see if they can change that for you. We are unable to make any account specific changes here from the public Support area. Kindest Regards, Scott M
