I recently upgraded from one of your shared hosting plans to a VPS. I notice now that I cannot upload (through HTTP post) files larger than 128k without triggering a 500 server error. Researching this problem on the web I discovered that the issue may be the FastCGI configuration, specifically the fcgidmaxrequestlen parameter. I looked through WHM, but cannot find where I can modify this setting. How can I increase the setting?

Hello msikorski, Sorry to hear you are having issues with uploading files larger than 128k using HTTP. cPanel says the following: "If the size of the request body exceeds this amount, the request will fail with 500 Server Error. By default this is set to 131072 Bytes. For cPanel the default is 1073741824, which is about 1GB. " This holds true with the normal behavior we have seen on VPS accounts. You may need to contact our Live Support so they can adjust the configuration. Kindest Regards, Scott M
