Windows Mail app not showing all Sent email even though set to Anytime

I am using the Windows Mail app in Windows 10. Previously used Windows Live Mail but it has stopped working.
In the Mail app the sent folder only shows recent items. I have set all email accounts within the Mail app to download from Anytime but all my Sent email do not show up. What is wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, Thank you for your question regarding windows mail not showing sent emails. If you are using IMAP, ensure you are subscribed to the INBOX. Also, check your email filters, as they may be set to move the emails to another folder. Thank you, John-Paul
