Upgraded to reseller and want to create accounts for my add on domains
I went from a pro account to a reseller account and now I want to make what were previously add-on domains, into their own accounts. When I attempt to create the domain in the reseller account it tells me it already exists. I can't be the first person to do this, is there a guide somewhere that shows how to do it?
Thank you for your question on how to create new accounts on your reseller account. If these domains already exist on your main accounts as addon domains, you cannot create them on the same server as a separate cPanel.
You will need to remove them from the addon list. While this will stop the domain from working until the new one is created, it will not remove any of the files. You will simply need to copy those over to the new cPanel once you create it.
