Cannot promote content to front page
Hello,
I am trying to promote content to the front page as explained here:
https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/drupal-8/homepage/promote-content
I made sure I am using the default front page as to actually allow for this (I know if one uses a static front page you are unable to promote content). Do you have any suggestions for this. I would like a dynamic homepage that can show small teasers of new content. I am using a default theme and am not getting any error messages.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your question about promoting content to the front page of Drupal. Are you saying that following the article did not work? Can you explain the steps you are taking to promote a page? What do you see on the front page after following the steps?
