Log onto incoming mail server imap failed outlook 2010

I am having issues with sending and receiving emails in outlook 2010.
I have removed the account and recreated the account.

Incoming server (pop3) - 110
Outgoing server (SMTP) 25

Use the following type of encrypted connection set as NONE

When it comes to testing the account the below is shown:

Logon to incoming mail server pop3 is showing as failed
send test email message showing as completed.

Could you please advise as to what can be done.

Hello, Thank you for your question about email setup. Try using one of the other default email ports instead of port 25. For example, you can try 587. Port 25 is often blocked by Internet Service Providers. Best, Christopher M.
