can't change permalinks in boldgrid

Tried changing permalink and still reverts back to the original link after saving. I've cleared the TRash bin so, the original page is not showing on my page list. So now what? Everytime I change the link it reverts back to adding a -2 at the end of the page name.

I advise first clearing your browser cache and proceeding with the WordPress troubleshooting listed in the article. The -2 would indicate that a page with the same permalink already exists.
