Transferring Domain from GoDaddy

I get my authorization code from GoDaddy but when I type it in the transfer process to move my domain to InMotion it says the authorization code is invalid. I get the same code every time from GoDaddy but InMotion doesn't like it. What other items may prevent the authorization code from being correct? I have released any privacy settings and made the site editable by anyone.
