Setting up new hosting

I am a complete IT novice and my question is probably simple to most people...

My webpage is almost activated, but getting the message that I need to replace the page with my own index.htm page. I don't know whether it is because my cPanel backup is I complete or I need to do some else to reactivate my website?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello, Thank you for your question regarding setting up new hosting. There are many options. If you have uploaded a full cPanel backup, you can request assistance unpacking it via ticket to Live Support. If you want to upload/publish your own website files you can use FTP. If you want to begin building a website using a CMS (such as WordPress) you can install software using Softaculous. We also offer a free drag & drop theme builder for WordPress, called BoldGrid.
