How do I stop a redirect from www.website.com to website.com

When I type my website as www.website.com it automatically drops the www so it is just website.com. Google sees this as a redirect and I cannot use their webmaster tool. How do I stp the site from dropping the www?

Hello, Thank you for your question regarding stopping a redirect. Since it seems you are using WordPress you most likely have your site URL set as website.com, instead of www.website.com. I recommend changing your site URL to the 'www.website.com' version. It should cause all traffic to redirect correctly to the one you set. Thank you, John-Paul
