redirection of web site

I would like to redirect a web site that I built in HTML to a web site created in Wordpress. Have ready many tutorials but just dont get it...thats what happens as you get older :(

There are many different ways to accomplish this, but it can be very easy or very difficult depending on the kind of website you are trying to convert. Are you trying to only convert the text? Or, do you want to transfer the style, graphics, and look of the site? If only transferring a few pages, it may be best to install WordPress and re-create the pages. If you want to make the site look exactly like the original, point for point, then you may need to contact a developer who can customize a new WordPress installation to match your former site exactly.
