I cannot enter my Prestashop independent back office shop

I have my online shop, installed with the basic free Prestashop Theme, under my primary domain, “yesmike.net”, for about 5 months, and it is up and running. I have organized the categories, registered suppliers, carriers, products, its attributes, features, pricing and so on, and I am still on maintenance mode, and almost ready to go Live.
At this point, I intend to upgrade the Prestashop to a new and definitive professional “theme”, and was told that, I should replicate my current Prestashop and develop that independent online shop, into a subdomain, which has been created, as “test.yesmike.net”. A clone of my current online shop, has been installed under the “test.yesmike.net”, and I intend to develop the new shop with all the necessary tools, modules etc.
Now, I am having a situation here:
1. Thankfully my online shop, installed with the basic free Prestashop Theme, under my primary domain, “yesmike.net”, is still working fine, both the front door, as well as the back office.
2. When I enter test.yesmike.net, I can open the shop, however the directory shown is the same as my real shop https://yesmike.net, instead of https://test.yesmike.net. Is that a re-direction? Is that correct? Will I be able to develop and make changes and updates on the test site, and eventually transform/transfer all the data back into the one I will be using, on my primary domain, as I will need to?
3. When I enter test.yesmike.net/admin123, trying to open the back office, a new screen appears, showing up "THIS PAGE IS NOT AVAILABLE" we are sorry, but the web address you've entered is no longer available. And it gives me the option of clicking on "Home page" button, which takes me to the online shop. What should I do to go into the back office to develop my independent shop?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Sincerely,
Ednei M.

Hello Ednei, Sorry for the problem with your duplicate PrestaShop site. I stepped through an earlier comment on this issue before. I looked at your files and your installation. I'll go through the list you have provided: 1. Thankfully my online shop, installed with the basic free Prestashop Theme, under my primary domain, “yesmike.net”, is still working fine, both the front door, as well as the back office. There is no question here. I am able to see the site running as well 2. No, https://test.yesmike.net should NOT be a re-direction. If you installed it using the TEST subdirectory, then it should be its own installation. I do not know what you selected when you ran the installation of this site. Yes you can develop a site in that manner. You will need to perform a migration of the site to the new URL after you have completed the development. Check out the posts in this PrestaShop support forum article for details on the migration. I tried finding this fold for you, but I couldn't find WHERE that folder is located. It looks like it's been moved somewhere or renamed to something. If you just started, the best thing to do (to save yourself a lot of time and headache), please re-install after deleting the current installation. You can then determine where the admin directory is supposed to be located. I hope this helps to answer your questions, please let us know if you require any further assistance. Regards, Arnel C.
