DB: UTF8 not working when use remote DB access
When I use Toad remote DB access to update or insert, all UTF8 column data became "????". However, there's no problem when using phpmyadmin. Also, when doing the same to my hostgator hosting account, it works fine with all utf8 data. Is there anything I need to config in order to make utf8 work with inmotion's remote DB access?
Thank you for your question about using UTF-8 in your database. If you were able to insert this data with phpMyAdmin then it would seem the server is not inhibited from accepting this data. Is it possible it is happening with the Toad remote client you're using?
