clicking on Get Shortlink generates url to old host

I created a post on a blog in inmotion. All nameservers have been pointed correctly. When I click on get Shortlink, it generates an url that takes me to our old host, hostgator. Has anyone experienced this or know how to fix it?

Hello, Thank you for your question about getting shortlinks in WordPress. There are a few different link-shortening services available. It's possible you are using one that was installed by Host Gator. Were you originally using Host Gator WordPress hosting, or is there a plugin installed to get that shortlink? If so, you can disable the plugin, or consider using a different link-shortening service like goo.gl or Bitly. Best, Christopher M.
