Webserver error with new host after domain transfer
Hi,
I just joined Inmotion a week ago and have just transferred my domain from my old host to Inmotion (While im not sure yet if the domain transfer is complete, but the WHOIS info shows the current registrar as Inmotion/Tucows). However, My domain is pointing to the name servers of my old host as i have not yet initiated the transfer of my website. Today when i tried to open my website, i get this error -
HTTP Error 403.14 - Forbidden
The Web server is configured to not list the contents of this directory.
most likely cause: "A default document is not configured for the requested URL, and directory browsing is not enabled on the server."
Could anyone please help how to resolve this issue?
Thanks
Ranjith

Thank you for your question on the error you are getting with your old host. Transferring the domain while keeping the name servers pointed to the old host will have no effect on the site. The error you are getting is likely caused by one of two things:
1) a permissions error on the other server
2) Missing files while having the directory browsing disabled.
You will need to contact the other host and have them check into those as both are server side issues and since the server belongs to them, they are the only ones who can make any changes or troubleshoot the issue.
Kindest Regards,
