Pages not loading correctly

Some pages do not appear at all, instead there are black diamonds with question marks and other characters. Other pages appear okay except for random appearance of the black diamonds with question marks - perhaps a dozen or so scattered about the webpage. Also, the question marks appear on and off - in other words, they'll appear when the page is loaded, but when the page is re-loaded they do not appear (and vice versa).
