Filezilla - no files when connect

When I use FileZilla to FTP to my website, it appears to connect successfully but the only thing that shows is a folder icon with a slash (i.e, /) next to it. No other folders and no files are shown. Am I connecting correctly? I used the XML configuration file. Here's the last part of the status log...
