Probem with my server...

I've tried support chat... but I think they're limited knowlege is a problem and can't help me.

My server for the past 2 weeks has been slow. Dead slow. It takes me 10 minutes to go into phpmyadmin

it takes 20 seconds to load any site.

Basically everything on this server is slow.

I have 2 other servers with inmotion and they aren't having problems like this one.

I need this to be resolved as it's effecting my income. I direct about 20 people per month to this hosting because I trust the speed and security.

But on this issue, the tech support keeps telling me it's my sites. I'm a developer and I know how long it should take to load a very basic wordpress site.

Can you help?

Hello Santolla, Sorry for the problems with the performance issues you're seeing on the server. Please understand that you are on a shared server and there is the possibility of load spikes on the server that may temporarily slow down the server. Systems people monitor the server 24 hours/ 7 days a week, but it may take them a little time to reduce any possible spike in the server load. Shared servers are convenient for the low cost, but if you wish to have more or all control over the resources involved in keeping your website up, then you should invest in a VPS or Dedicated server environment. I did check your server for uptime and server load within the last 24 hours. The server has not gone down in over 2 months, but there has been a significant load on the server in the last 24 hours. Currently, it is operating optimally. When I looked at the URLs that you provided, they were loading within 3 seconds. However, when I ran them through a third party performance tool like PageSpeed from Google, there are recommendations to make optimize your site to make it faster. I also ran it through it Gtmetrix and they provide a lot of suggestions: Gtmetrix Performance report. I do apologize that you're having issues with site performance.
