I can't edit my CSS in OpenCart

I would like to know if someone can help me, I can add things to the footer of the Opencart website, but I can not edit them in CSS, everything I change nothing works, it does not change anything, it does not change anything even if I change everything in CSS , I would like to know with you if you can help me with this question of how to change CSS or add CSS in a way that it can work.
Note I'm using version 2.3.0.2

Thank you for your question about editing your CSS with OpenCart 2.3. You will need to navigate to your installation directory for OpenCart, and then edit the file at catalog/view/theme/default/stylesheet/stylesheet.css Then you need to clear your website cache, if you have one, clear your browser cache, and reload the page.
