I cannot make my first website

Hello, I want to use wordpress to create my first website, but have run into trouble. When I try to install WordPress on InMotion hosting, I get an error saying that I already have something else installed. What is my problem here?

Hello, Thank you for your question regarding installing WordPress. This error indicates that there is another website installed in your account. Using your favorite file management techniques, you can review the files to see what is there. If you have a new InMotion account, you may have opted for the automatic WordPress installation. This could be what is installed there currently. If you are using Softaculous to install WordPress, there is an "Overwrite" option you can use to wipe out the installation already installed and start fresh. Best, Christopher M.
