Add proxy pass to my apache configuration

I have an API running on port 8000 and would like to setup proxy pass in Apache. I tried to create virtual host in WHM apache configuration under Includes Editors, but the proxy pass did not work. How do I do that?

I have VPS-2000HA-S, CentOS 7.3, WHM and cPanel 64.0

Hello, Thank you for your question regarding adding proxy pass to your apache configuration. We do not currently have a setup guide for proxy pass. I do know the proxy code also needs to be added in the apache configuration file, and you have to manually create the file.
