I run
#systemctl unmask firewalld
then
systemctl status firewalld

and the status is that firewalld is still masked. Why is this?

Hello,

Thank you for your question regarding issues running the unmask firewalld command. In my tests, this command is working successfully. Ensure you are logged into SSH as the root user. I also recommend being extremely careful with Firewalld configurations, since you are making configuration changes to your server.

Thank you,

John-Paul
