Wordpress combine css files

I run site analysis on my Wordpress theme, and it says I have 36 css files. Can you help or do you know how minimize the css files into 1 file? Or is it based on the theme I choose and contact the theme provider? I already have W3 total cache installed plus another minimizer but it took 53 css files down to 36. I am new to Wordpress.

Hello, Thank you for your question about combining your WordPress CSS. I was able to find a WordPress plugin called "Merge + Minify + Refresh" that may be able to help you. If this plugin does not merge as much as you want, you may need to speak with a developer that is experienced with WordPress.
