Are remote MySQL connections secure, or can they be secured? Is there any documentation on how?

Hello rehakes, Thank you for your question regarding remote MySQL security. After whitelisting the connecting server's IP address, you should be able to connect over SSL or shared SSL. Thank you, John-Paul
