Need to create a new superuser

Hello. I have basically lost control of my own website. I only have administrator privileges and need to create a new superuser for myself so that I can update and install extensions, manage the template, etc. I cannot get in contact with the Super user that originally set up my account . She has basically left me stranded. Please help.
