Here's an article with some tips on the topic

It is not possible to provide temporary access via AMP or cPanel: both of those are limited to one user per account.

There are other ways to provide site access, though!

1) Consider creating an FTP account specifically for the person you are providing access to. You can give them access to one specific site directory, rather than the entire account. When they're finished, simply delete that FTP account.

2) Create a WordPress user for them. You can change the password or delete that account later. If you delete the account, remember to transfer the associated data to another account, or that data may disappear!

Optional Extra: Set up Developer Verification for your account. Normally, when someone verifies account ownership with our Support Team, they can make changes to any piece of the account including ownership details and payment information. Developer access allows your developer to verify their access: they will be able to make changes in cPanel and to the site, but will not have access to billing information and other financial/ownership data.
