I have moved my domain to a different name server and need to access my old site on your servers How can I access my site on your servers
We still have a contract with inmotion until the end of the yr. I have moved my domain to new web servers but need to access information on the pages on inmotion servers. Is there a way I can access the on web pages on your servers.

Thanks for the question about accessing your old site on InMotion's servers. First, sorry to hear that you appear to have left our hosting. If there is a technical issue that forced you way, please let us know.
You should be able to make a HOSTS file change so that a particular computer can get to the old site. If it's a WordPress site remember that the site database is using domain name that may or may not be live on another server. The hosts file change will make it so tha tyou can assign that domain to the old server IP address. See the article for specifics. You may need to make it live briefly, copy the information you need, then switch HOSTS file back so that it's normal on your computer. A HOSTS file modification does not affect the internet - ONLY the computer where the change has been made.

If you're simply trying to access files, then log into the account cPanel for file access. If you're trying to make the old site live, then it is a matter of figuring out what domain name will be usable. If you have a new site within the same domain name, then you will need to consider how to change the domain name on the old server.
