Hi, I used to check my website for potential malware with the AVG Online tool and everything always been fine. I tried Sucuri today and found out that my website is blacklisted by Norton and McAfee and tagged "Malicious Site: Malicious Domain Request 2". The website appears to be clean for all the others antiviruses.
Is my website potentially dangerous or not? And if so how do I fix it?
Norton Security Alert given on Customer Support Button Link
In the process of clicking on the Customer Support Button off the AMP sign-in page, I received a FRAUDULENT WEB PAGE BLOCKED warning from Norton as a result of my...
"attempt to access (https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support). This web page is a known fraudulent web page. It is recommended that you do NOT visit this page. For your protection, this web page has been blocked...:
even though when pointing to the Customer Support Button, it is clearly displaying
(https://support.inmotionhosting.com) as the target page.
This is happening with the latest versions of Google Chrome and Internet Explorer browsers. It is NOT happening with the latest version of the Firefox browser.
Hello and sorry for your issue. This is likely related to your server IP address. Please contact Live Support directly so that we can resolve this, especially since it's not mentioned on status.inmotionhosting.com.
Hello,
Thank you for your question about your website being flagged by anti-virus software. The message says that the domain has been previously known to host malware or dangerous executable files. Now, as long as you don't have any malware on your domain you may want to work with Norton and McAfee to improve your evaluation. Here's a link to Nortons:
