I'm about to launch a new business and need an email account that local industries are comfortable with. my former employer used inmotion for their emails and everyone was good with it, so i need info on starting one myself

You can check out the Business Shared Hosting options for a starter account with email service. You don't need to have a website, but you should have a domain name that will be used with the email address.
