Thanks for your question about updating cPanel. It depends on the account that you have and your access to it. If you are on a shared business account, then you will need to request a cPanel update through our live technical support team.. It may not be possible depending on the update request. If you are on a VPS or Dedicated server, then you would need to have Root access and use WHM to update cPanel. When you log into WHM, you will generally see a link at the top of the interface with the option to update cPanel.
