Why do the addresses of my web site pages begin with "Not Secure"?

Hello Gary,

Thanks for your question about website addresses beginning with "not secure."  Actually, your addresses do not start with "not secure."  You're seeing "not secure" because the internet browser is identifying your website as non-secure.  Not too long, it browsers started requiring that you use an SSL certificate, or your site would be identified as not secure.  This was typically done for websites that are requesting information from a viewer.  If you are not using an SSL certificate and you are an InMotion Hosting customer, you do have the option of using a FREE SSL certificate for your website. If you're using an SSL certificate already and you're still getting a not secure message, then you should use a tool like Why No Padlock to see what's causing your site not to be secure.
