my organization have domain let's say example.com. imap.pop3. using this domain we subscribed to microsoft 365 business. we have verfied the domain and it was working until i tried to manage dns from microsoft admin. the mx records was created but unforunately nameserver didnot. and now all users have to 2 mails servers with 1 email account. the problem that each server receives different emails. how can i resolve this. either by undoing microsoft dns managing step or complete to have mail totally migrated. all i want is to have one inbox contains all mails sent to this email.

Hi Kholoud! You should be able to manage your DNS from either Microsoft's DNS Admin or the cPanel zone editor. Just pick whichever one is easiest for you to use.

If you use Microsoft's DNS, make sure you only have one set of MX records pointed to your Office 365 email and that your primary A record is pointed to your server's IP address

If you use the zone editor, make sure that you only have one set of MX records listed in the DNS, and that they are pointed to the Office 365.

Once that is all taken care of (and you are using only one set of nameservers), you can always use a mail client to transfer your emails from the old accounts to your new account. This article describes how to transfer email to InMotion using Thunderbird, but the process of transferring email from InMotion using Outlook will be similar. When you connect to the old accounts, just use your server name URL instead of your site's URL to set up the client-- instead of something like mail.yourdomain.com you will be using biz###.inmotionhosting.com to connect the client to the old accounts-- with biz### being replaced by the actual name/number of your server. Hope that helps!
